Saying somebody is “growing up” shouldn’t be an excuse for them to be doing stupid things. /:
I hung out with some friends of mine this evening, and we talked about, well a lot of things! Then just a few minutes ago, while I was sitting here quietly at home, that thought lingered into my mind.
We were talking about how some people “change” when they hit college. I don’t disagree, I know a lot of people who are really different from what they used to be like when we were in high school. But there are particular individuals who’ve done a few things for the past few years during college that weren’t…all that smart. Or things that would be very, very, very unlikely for them to do.
It was mentioned that they could be just “growing up” and it would happen eventually anyway. At first I thought, “okay yeah, I guess so.” But then a while ago, it got me thinking. I don’t think “growing up” means doing things like drinking alcohol or smoking or anything of the sort. I mean, some people start those things at a very early age, while some don’t at all.
Bluntly put, I think “growing up” should mean you don’t get any dumber. /: As bad as that sounds, I dunno, it just makes sense to me.

Ho hum, just had to put thoughts into writing. Or whatever this is. I tend to forget things like this.
Thank you to everyone who greeted! ♥
And thank you to Kiks for all the help (and the goody bag!), my birthday wouldn’t have been as complete if it weren’t for you. ♥
Special shout-out to Misha & Alo, a.k.a. Miyagi & Lebron HAHA! Pasaway, but I love you guys all the same. XD Thanks for coming! May 40 pesos na si Alo dahil sakin. HAHAHA! Sorry, Kiks!
Bangkok in less than 12 hours! See you later, Pinas!
At around 5.30PM today after watching Made of Honor downstairs, Kiks suddenly told me to get dressed, cause he would take me out to dinner. :3
We went to Megamall, hopefully to find those caramel apples I’ve always been meaning to try, but to my disappointment, they were no longer there. D: So we just decided to have dinner already.
Ate at this quaint little place called JiPan. It had a very homey feeling. I could imagine an old Japanese couple having a meal at a place like that. :3 Haha. Food was good, even though I couldn’t finish my tempura. XD
Walked around and looked for some dessert. Wanted to pick between this new yogurt place beside Bubble Tea and Cerealicious - went with the latter. XD
Since the toy store didn’t allow food inside, we walked around downstairs for a bit. Once we had finished our dessert, we went back up to Toy Kingdom where Kiks bought a new toy, and we got ourselves some gachapons. :D
He actually got that one, and I said it looked like him. Then he gave it to me. :3 We traded. XD
At home, we just hung out some more and had some laughs. HAHAHAHAHAHA for many reasons. XD
Tonight was a really simple evening, spent with my best friend. I love nights like this. (:
I put some drawings up at Explodingdog.com today!
This is the way I kind of felt this morning. Srsly.
